Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Collingham, Nottinghamshire

We have an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join an independent practice in Collingham. The role is full time for 4/5 days per week with 1 in 5 weekends with time off in lieu the following week. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

The practice are looking for a confident Vet who has great communications skills and a passion for both animal and client care. The role will involve both a mixture of consultations and surgeries.

The practice provide a high standard of clinical care and they have a positive and forward-thinking clinical culture. This is a growing practice and they currently have a tea of 3 Vet, 3 Vet Nurses, and a support team. They have facilities including an in house laboratory, theatre, x-ray, dental x-ray and ultrasound. They also offer on site parking.

An excellent opportunity for a veterinary surgeon to take the next steps and become an experienced Clinical Director or work towards certificates.

Key details

• Type: Small animal
• Hours: Full time, 4/5 days per week
• Weekends: 1 in 5 weekends
• Sole charge: On occasion
• OOH: None
• Consultations: 15 minutes
• Team: 3 Vets, 3 Vet Nurses and support staff

Facilities

The practices are fully equipped with all the latest diagnostic equipment and there is a wide range of state-of-the-art services available, including:

Package:

• Salary: Up to £90,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
• Quarterly Bonus Scheme (up to 20%)
• Holidays: 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays

Must haves:

• RCVS registered and qualified
