Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Leicester

We have an opportunity for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice in Leicester, working between two of their branches. This role is full time for 4 days per week with weekends on a rota. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

The practice are able to offer flexibility for hours to suit individuals' circumstances. Whilst the position is a small animal role the practice may be able to offer mixed work for the right candidate.

They have two first opinion clinics which are located close to local transport links for Birmingham and London. Both sites are semi-rural providing a lovely area for families with lots of activities, good schools, and places to eat and drink.

They are looking for an enthusiastic small animal Vet who has ambition to develop themselves. They will be a team player with excellent communication skills.

This is a supported role and the new graduate would be enrolled onto their new graduate scheme. There will be a combination of training days, in house mentoring, CPD and clinical practice. 1-1 anf group mentoring sessions will also be provided. They can offer a large supportive team collectively providing a wealth of experience. They also have visiting specialists. They have a large nursing team who provide plenty of support and the leadership team are passionate about welfare and ensure that a supportive and happy work environment is maintained.

  • Team: 5 vets, 5 RVNs, 2 SVNs and a supportive non-clinical team
