Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Kettering, Northamptonshire

  • Are you a qualified and RCVS registered veterinary surgeon?
  • Are you looking for a new opportunity in Northamptonshire?

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Kettering, Northamptonshire for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full time for 4 days per week with shifts from 9am to 7pm, along with 1 in 3 Saturdays from 9am to 1pm with time off in lieu. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

  • Consultations: 15 minutes

The role

  • The role will involve a mixture of carrying out consultations, inpatient care and surgery. They will work closely with the rest of the team and provide a high standard of care.
  • Areas of special interest - up to certificate level will be supported.
  • Flexible working and rota patterns available to accommodate a good work / life balance. EG Rota to work around the school run / holidays /lifestyle.
  • The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.
  • The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.

  • They are fully equipped with facilities including Ultrasound, two K Lasers, endoscopy, dental suite, digital x-ray, in house laboratory and more.
  • The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients.

  • The vet will have excellent communications skills and a compassionate attitude along with excellent client facing skills. They will be able to build rapport and strong client relationships.

Package

  • Salary: Up to £63,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
  • Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, increasing with service and birthday off
