There is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, small animal, independent veterinary practice in Ely, Cambridgeshire. This role is full time, working 4 days a week, with 1 in 3 Saturdays and no OOH.

Our client is looking for a friendly, pro-active veterinary surgeon with at least 2 years practice experience. This is an establish practice boasting an excellent reputation within the local community.

Key Details:

Type: Small Animal

Hours: Monday - Friday / 4 Day week 9.30am - 6.30pm

Weekends: The role includes 1 in 4 consulting Saturday shifts and 1 in 6 inpatient responsibility consulting Saturday shift

OOH: None required

Sole Charge: None required

Team: 5 Vets & 7 Nurses

Consultations: 15 Minute appointments

About them:

A busy first opinion practice who see a wide variety of cases. They have a purpose built building in the lovely rural area of Ely, Cambridgeshire, with a large range of veterinary equipment such as, x-ray, ultrasound, endoscope and dental x-ray. They have an experienced and supportive team who work together to create a positive working environment.

With a 5 vet team, all general practitioners with their own areas of interest with enhanced knowledge within these areas. The vets enjoy discussing cases of interest amongst themselves and use each other's knowledge to enhance patient care. There is a visiting orthopaedic specialist who is usually with hem weekly that the vets have the opportunity to be involved with.

Person:

We are looking for a friendly individual who enjoys working in a close team. Experience would be ideal as well as confidence with surgery however training and support can be given. In addition to your excellent clinical and communication skills, you will need to be a people oriented person, who is willing to support and guide your colleagues.

Package:

Salary between 35,000-50,000
