Job description
We are recruiting for a permanent veterinary surgeon to join an independent practice in North West London near Hampstead. This role is a full time position, working 4 days per week (either 8am-6pm or 9am-7pm), no out of hours and a 1 in 3 Saturday rota.
The practice offers a referral service so has visiting specialists in Cardiology, Ultrasongraphy, orthopaedic and soft tissue. This is a client driven practice offering a high standard of customer and clinical care. They prioritise client and patient time by offering long consultations of 20 - 30 minutes and have a lower volume of procedures each day to ensure the continuation of a high standard of care. They offer a bespoke service to their clients and an individual approach.
They require a veterinary surgeon with a minimum of 4 years' post qualification experience. Clinical thoroughness and implementing current scientific based methods are essential and this would be expected of the veterinary surgeon. The surgeon must have excellent customer facing skills, be motivated and enthusiastic with a genuine passion for animal welfare.
The Vet would be joining a team of 4 Nurses, 2 Vets and a non clinical support team.

Weekends: 1:3 Saturdays with time off in lieu - 9am - 6pm
Lieu: Time off in lieu after working a weekend

Provides state of the art equipment and facilities
Person:
You will have a minimum of 3 years' experience
You will be confident with routine surgeries and consults
You will enjoy building client relations and being a clinical veterinary surgeon
You must have excellent customer facing skills, empathy, work well as part of a team and have a genuine passion for animal welfare.

Package:
Salary - 45,000-65,000 per annum
