Are you looking for a new role within a busy veterinary hospital environment? Our small animal client in Central Glasgow is currently recruiting for veterinary surgeons to join their team permanent.

The role is full time working 37.5 hours per week, with involvement on a weekend rota and no out of hours or evening work. Due to the experience in the team, they are open to applications from all levels of qualified veterinary surgeons - they also have multiple roles available.

Key Job Details:

Type: Small animal only

Hours Mon-Fri: 37.5 hours per week over a mixture of shifts

Weekends: 1 in 4 weekends on a rota basis

OOH: None required

Sole charge: Unlikely to be any sole working

Branch work: 5 branches in the area, some work to be expected

About them:

A busy, modern small animal veterinary hospital located within Central Glasgow. They are well known for their surgical services which include oncology, cardiology and key hole surgery. They also offer BOAS surgery, , Diagnostic Imaging (CT and MRI), Neurology, and Advanced Surgery.

They have been growing rapidly in the past 12 months and are now looking to recruit 6 new veterinary surgeons over the coming months.

The Person:

The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 1 years practice experience behind them since qualifying, as at the moment they are not able to support a new graduate. You will have a keen interest in both surgeries and consulting and have a real passion for providing a high level of care to all patients. It Is also important you have a compassionate and understand nature as well as the ability to provide a high level of customer service.

The Package:

Salary from 33,000 to 55,000 depending on person & skills set

CPD actively encouraged with 5 days per annum

Certificates funded for right person

Relocation package can be put together

4 weeks annual leave + bank holidays

RCVS, BSAVA and VDS fees paid

Must have:

RCVS registered and qualified

Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom

Excellent customer service and communication skills
