Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Bungay, Suffolk

  • Are you a qualified and RCVS registered veterinary surgeon?
  • Are you looking for a role where you can study towards a certificate?

We are recruiting on behalf of a small practice in Bungay, Suffolk for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full or part time with shifts between 8am and 6:30pm, along with Saturday mornings on a rota. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

The role

  • The role involves a mixture of surgery and consultations and assisting in the day to day running of the practice
  • The role offers flexible working pattern and shifts to suit a good work / life balance - EG to work around school pick up. They are in a position to offer full time, part time or flexi time hours that suit
  • The Vet will be working alongside 2 Senior Vets
  • The role offers the opportunity to study towards certificates which are funded and encouraged
  • The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.
  • The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.

  • The practice is bright, modern and spacious and is fully equipped with all the toys as one would expect and they are planning on building a hydrotherapy unit

Package

  • Salary: Up to £63,000 pro rata, commensurate to experience
  • Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, increasing with service and birthday off
  • CPD: Generous allowance of £1,250 with 5 days paid
