Permanent Veterinary Clinical Director - Nottingham

We are recruiting on behalf of a practice in Nottingham for a Permanent Veterinary Clinical Director.

You will be joining a talented team of 3.5 vets, 3 nurses and a supportive non-clinical team. You will have the experience necessary to perform routine surgeries and consultations and have excellent interpersonal skills in order to create trusting and dependable relationships with your clients. You will provide the gold standard of care to the practice's patients and clients and play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the practice.This role will give you the opportunity to manage a practice as if it's your own, but with the support of the regional team. You will have the confidence to work sole charge as this is a required aspect of the role on Saturday mornings only.

The role is full time with Saturday mornings on a rota. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

  • You will be comfortable with routine surgeries
  • You will have an approachable, empathetic, and caring attitude
  • You will be passionate about all aspects of your veterinary work
  • You will be happy to share knowledge and mentor others where required
  • You will be able to establish good working relationships with clients and be confident in all consultations
  • You will contribute to the practice with ideas enabling them to stay at the forefront of clinical thinking whilst also maintaining the ethos of providing a high standard of clinical care to all pets
  • You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and staff
  • You will be a strong team player
  • Ambition to pursue an area of special interest would be supported
