Permanent Night Veterinary Surgeon - Rainham, Essex

We are recruiting for an independent veterinary practice in Rainham, Essex who are looking for an additional Permanent Night Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is part time with a working rota of 7 nights on and 14 nights off, with weekends included. The weekday night shifts will be 7pm to 9am and the weekend nights shifts will be 5pm to 9am.

About them:

This practice is a busy independent small animal practice in Rainham which opened in 2019. They have a modern, purpose-built practice with excellent facilities, including:

• Full in-house laboratory
• Digital and dental x-ray
• Ultrasound
• Orthopaedics

About you:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience with OOH and emergency work however this is not essential. They will be happy with sole charge work. A special interest in ECC work would be advantageous. Support is available. It Is also important they have a compassionate and understand nature as well as the ability to provide a high level of customer service.

• Salary: Up to £60,000 pro rata, commensurate to experience
• Holidays: 21 nights annual leave

• Certificates funded for right person

Must haves:

• RCVS registered and qualified or soon to be
• Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
