Permanent Night Veterinary Surgeon - Liverpool, Merseyside

We have an opportunity for a Permanent Night Veterinary Surgeon to join a 24hr animal hospital in Liverpool. The practice takes in referrals from 17 practices in the surrounding area.

The practice is looking for surgery certificate holder who can perform orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries. You must have excellent communication skills, high clinical standards and practical experience gained in a small animal practice. You will have the ability to create trusting and dependable relationships with your clients and will provide the gold standard of care to the practice's patients and clients. You must be confident and competent working sole charge.

The role is part time for 7 nights and 21 nights off, with shifts from 7pm to 9am.

About you

  • You will have practical experience gained in a small animal practice
  • You will have a strong bias in orthopaedic surgery
  • You will be comfortable working on surgical duties only
  • You will ideally have a bias or area of specialism that you would like to pursue
  • You will be comfortable with routine surgeries and consultations
  • You will be self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • An interest in pursuing a certificate would be supported and encouraged
  • You will be ambitious, driven, and forward-thinking
  • You will set a positive working environment and lead by example
  • You will enjoy mentoring and coaching others and sharing knowledge and experience
  • You will have a calming approach when dealing with a busy practice environment

Package:
