We are recruiting on behalf of a practice in Hinckley Leicestershire for a Permanent Lead Veterinary Surgeon. This is a full-time role working a 4 day week with a weekend rota of 1:3 half and 1:6 full.

The practice is fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities with Ultrasound, in house laboratory

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Vet who is looking to work in a practice where they can build their own client base. The practice is in the beautiful market town of Hinckley and is within a good commute from Leicester.

Who are they looking for?

They require a Vet who has a good amount of small animal experience - at least 2 -5 years and someone who is competent in routine examinations and surgeries and happy to work some sole charge when required. They will have good customer care skills and be able to build rapport easily with clients with a caring and empathetic attitude. They will have good communication skills and be happy to share knowledge and best practice where required. They will take pride in their work and lead by example.

About you

• You will be confident in routine surgeries and consultations.
• You will be comfortable with sole charge work with support of an RVN

• You will have a minimum of 1 years' experience

• An interest in pursuing a certificate would be supported and encouraged

Package:

• Salary: Up to 55,000 Commensurate to experience pro rata
