Permanent Head Veterinary Nurse - Rainham, Essex

We are working with an independent veterinary practice in Rainham, Essex who are recruiting for a Permanent Head Veterinary Nurse.

The role is full time for 40 hours per week with shifts from 8:30am to 5:30pm or 10:30am to 7:30pm, along with 1 in 3 weekends from 8:30am to 5:30pm and 1 or 2 bank holidays per year. There will be time off in lieu for any weekends or bank holidays worked.

• Type: Small animal
• Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, shifts from 8:30am to 5:30pm or 10:30am to 7:30pm
• Weekends: 1 in 3 weekends, 8:30am to 5:30pm
• TOIL: After any weekends or bank holidays worked
• Team: There will be a 3-person nurse team once fully recruited
• Branch work: None required

About them:

The practice is well equipped with modern technology, including state of the art x-ray machine, full dental service, in-house laboratory and much more.

About you:

You will need to be a confident veterinary nurse with a strong all round skills set. You must have strong customer service skills and be comfortable working in a high pressure environment.

Package:

• Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
• Holidays: 28 days annual leave, including bank holidays
• CPD: Generous allowance
• Memberships: RCVS and VDS fees paid

Must haves:

• RCVS registered and qualified or soon to be
• Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
