We are recruiting a veterinary surgeons to join our clients busy Hospital practice in Northampton due to expansion. This is a full time role working over a 4-day week, with 1 night every 2 weeks worked to cover in patient checks and 1 in 8 weekends worked.

The practice is ideally looking for a candidate with at least 2 years post graduate UK experience.

Key Details:

Type: Small Animal only

Hours Mon-Fri: 4-day week, hours between 8:00am and 8:00pm each day

Weekends: 1 in 8 weekends worked on rota basis

OOH: None required, covered by Vets Now

Team: 8 Veterinary Surgeons with a large group of qualified nurses and other support staff

The practice is modern with its thinking but traditional with its values, they are well equipped with latest technology and provide a variety of services. The practice has full surgical facilities, ultrasound equipment, dentistry, x-ray equipment and much more.

About You:

You will be a qualified veterinary surgeon with a desire to work with a forward thinking, fast paced veterinary practice. You must have a real passion for the industry and strive to provide the highest standards of care. The practice are ideally looking for candidates with 2 years postgraduate UK experience, however if you are a recent graduate with a strong skills set you may be considered.

Excellent customer service skills are also essential.

Package:

Salary starting at 35,000 and relative to experience/skills set

5 working weeks holiday plus public hols and birthday off

1000 CPD allowance and up to 5 days for CPD

RCVS/VDS and BVA membership fees paid

Must haves:

RCVS registered and qualified
