We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Inverness, Scotland for a Permanent Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full or part time with flexible shifts to suit you. There is also a manageable 1 in 4.5 OOH rota.

The role

  • The role offers a varied equine-only caseload
  • There will be a blend of ambulatory and clinic-based work
  • The practice will provide a van for business use

  • They offer a wide range of modern veterinary services and diagnostics, including an in-house laboratory, CT scanner, dentistry, vaccinations, castration, gastroscopy, endoscopy, lameness investigations, breeding, regenerative medicine and worming

About you

  • They are looking for a vet who has a good level of experience in medicine and surgery

  • You will be a team player and be able to work in a collaborative manner

Package

  • Salary: Up to £63,000 pro rata, commensurate to experience
  • Holidays: 6.8 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays and birthday off
  • CPD: Generous allowance of £1,250 with 40 hours to attend
