Our client on the Island of Jersey is looking for a locum mixed veterinary surgeon.This position is to start as soon as possible on an ongoing basis throughout the summer. Accommodation is provided however there is the possibility that the accommodation maybe shared.

The role is full time, and the Vet would be working as part of a 10-week rota. It is a 40 hour week on a shift pattern basis between 7.30am and 8pm. There is a duty week comprising of nights only and then a second call week which is a later start. The role is a mixture of large animal visits along with small animal work. the practice see a variety of cases and often referrals are difficult so they do see a lot of in house referral which include spinal surgery, TPLO and fracture repairs etc.

The locum would be joining a large team of 18 Vets so there is plenty of support and back up available.

• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: August/September 2021
• Hours Mon-Fri: 40 hours per week, shifts 730-430, 830-530, 830-6, 11-8. Worked on a 10 week rota
• Weekends: Worked on a shared based, 10 week rota
• OOH: 1-2 weeks on night duty during 10 week rota
• Sole Charge: 18 vets in the team, unlikely to be ever sole charge
• Accommodation: Can be provided however may be shared

Must have:

RCVS registered and qualified

Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom

1 years UK practice experience
