Locum Mixed Animal Veterinary Surgeon - Belmullet, Mayo County

We have an opportunity for a Locum Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to provide cover at a practice in Belmullet, Mayo County to start as soon as possible for at least 2 to 3 months, but potentially longer. This role is full time for 5 days per week with 4 nights on-call per week. There will be no weekends.

This will be predominantley Small Animal and Farm work with first line Equine duties roughly 50/45/5 split

This is a progressive, forward thinking and established mixed animal practice. They see a wide variety of both small animal and large animal cases.

Key details:

• Type: Small animal, farm animal,1st line equine
• Start: ASAP
• End: At least 2 to 3 months cover
• Hours: Full time, 5 days per week
• Weekends: None
• OOH: 4 nights per week
• Sole charge: Yes
• Accommodation: Provided
• Daily rate: 300 to 400 per day, with additional fee for call outs
• Payment options: Umbrella, bank contract, sole trader and ltd

The practice offers a wide range of veterinary services for small animal, equine and farm animal. They are fully equipped with a wide range of modern equipment for diagnostics and allowing for excellent patient care.

Must haves:

• RCVS registered and qualified or soon to be
• Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
