We are in search of an enthusiastic and dedicated Deputy Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a small animal practice near Epping Forest, Essex.
This is full-time permanent position with no out of hours or weekends required!
The Deputy Head nurse will be responsible for ensuring all staff members adhere to and achieve the highest clinical nursing standards at all times.
They will be responsible for monitoring and improving the quality of patient and client care provided, and promote professional services amongst the nursing team.
The ideal candidate will have a number of years' experience working in a similar practice, including running nurse clinics, and will have the ability to develop meaningful client relationships.
They will have a positive and caring outlook, and will be comfortable assisting in the training of the nursing team.

We are working with an independent veterinary practice in Derby who are currently recruiting for a qualified veterinary nurse to join them then in a Deputy Head Veterinary Nurse role.
This position will involve assuming a level of responsibility to assisting in the efficient running of the nurse and student nurse teams.
You will need to be able to work professionally with the team and maintain a happy, efficient, and proactive working environment across the practice.
Branch work: The practice do operate over 2 branches, some work will be required at both
Team: 4 Vets & 8 Qualifies Nurse and many support staff
Assist in the recruitment and selection of nursing staff
Carry out laboratory work
This role would be suitable for a qualified veterinary nurse with at least 2 years' experience working in UK practices, with a positive and motivating work ethic.
You will need to have full RVN experience and be comfortable with all nursing skills and procedures.
It is essential that you are comfortable working alone and able to provide a high standard of patient and client care.
