We are recruiting for a Permanent OOH Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a practice in Leeds West Yorkshire.
The role involves a working pattern of 1 week in 3 on 7 nights on and 14 nights off basis.

This is a busy 24 hr animal hospital, and they are looking for confident, assertive, and enthusiastic veterinary nurse.
This is a purpose build large 24hr practice with state-of-the-art facilities.
They provide OOH cover and additional support to 15 practices across the West Yorkshire region so referral work, ECC work and in patient care, routine surgeries and consultations are all provided within the hospital.
They are looking for a nurse who has previous experience with ECC work ideally but not essential as previous work experience within a busy practice would also be suitable.
They will have sold all round nursing skills and excellent technical skills.
All the nurses are trained in every element of the role so they would be responsible for a wide variety of duties from assisting in theatre, administering medications to discharges.
It is important that they have excellent communication skills and be able to build good working relationships and be a team player.

The role is full time working 40 hours per week with a 1:4 weekend rota.

They provide ongoing training and support to all team members through dedicated training centres.
All staff also benefit from the access to the best diagnostic equipment such as MRI machines and CT scanners and state of the art operating theatres in the nearest state-of-the-art Animal Hospital.
