Veterinary Surgeon

We are recruiting a permanent veterinary surgeon to join a small animal practice in Cambridge. This role offers a 34-hour working week over 4 days with a 1:2 Saturday rota 9am - 12pm. This role offers the surgeon to work alongside a large team and work sole charge within the branches where required creating plenty of opportunity to develop their clinical skill set and knowledge. The Vet will be working both independently and also with a team of nurses and PCAs with the support of a management team.

The role involves mainly working within the Hospital but also providing rotational cover at two of their branch surgeries close by.

We are currently recruiting a small animal veterinary nurse for an independent practice on the outskirts of Cambridge. The practice also provides there own out of hours service to their clients, so part of the role will require you to be involved on the on-call rota. This position would be best suited for a veterinary nurse with a passion for providing a high standard of customer service, veterinary care and an all-round caring person. The practice believes every member of staff should pull together and do their bit, meaning some work on reception may be required in busy periods. It is rare to be called out as the vets take the phones, however the practice believes in providing this service. An independent small animal practice on the outskirts of Cambridge who have a passion for providing a high standard of veterinary care. Customer service skills are also of high importance, as they require all nurses to assist the reception team when required.

This is a purpose-built practice and is modern and spacious offering modern veterinary services. They have all the toys including full orthopaedic equipment, endoscopic, laparoscopic, ultrasound and in-house Laboratory etc. The team comprises of 7 Vets, 9 Nurses and 5 supporting staff across both sites.
