The practice is part of a group of 4 practices in the surrounding area have a large team of around 50 in total. The roles are full time working a 4-day week between Monday - Friday and there is a weekend rota of 1:3. Each of the branches has a full team of Nurses and supporting staff including a branch manager along with 2 vets working at each one as a minimum. The last appointment of the day is at 7pm and the practice offer 15-minute consultations.

We are recruiting for two Veterinary Surgeons to join a practice in County Durham on fixed term contracts. The practice is flexible and can be flexible in terms of days work but need a minimum of 25 hours each week. The Vets work a 4-day week with a 1:7 weekend rota with time off in lieu. They comprise of a team of 7 Vets with the small animal Hospital and a supportive team of Veterinary Nurses. The roles available can accommodation a new or recent graduate Veterinary Surgeon as there is plenty of support available and Vets with experience in mentoring newly graduated Vets.
