We are recruiting for a permanent OOH Veterinary Surgeon to join an animal hospital in Barnsley.
This is a full-time role working 42 hours per week.
The Vet would be joining a busy 24-hour hospital comprising of a large team of 15 Vets, 17 RVNS, 3 SVNS and non-clinical support team.
This is an established animal hospital offering state of the art facilities and due to continual growth and expansion they have recently opened a referral centre within the hospital.
They are looking for an OOH Vet who is confident in surgical and medical cases.
They must work to a high standard and enjoy the variety that the role provides.
£45,000 - £55,000
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week with a 1:4 weekend rota.
There is some sole charge work involved.
There is no OOH providing an excellent work / life balance.
The practice is bright modern and spacious and offers a range of facilities including digital x-ray, ultrasound, and an in-house laboratory.
The practice is looking for an experience Veterinary Surgeon who is confident in medical and surgical cases.
It is important that they have an approachable and friendly attitude and enjoy building strong working relationships with clients and fellow team members.
£280-£350 per day
Hours Mon-Fri: All shifts 9am until 8pm apart from 5th April, which is 9am until 6pm
Sole Charge: Always another vet on site, but must be comfortable with sole working
Branch Work: None required, only 1 site

Our client's independent veterinary group with a practice in Barnsley are currently recruiting for a small animal veterinary surgeon to join them on a full time, permanent basis.
This role is full time and involves working a maximum of 1 night a week on call, with nurse support always available.
Hours Mon-Fri: 40 hours per week, worked across a variety of shifts during the week
An independently owned South Yorkshire veterinary group with multiple small animal branches across the region's towns.
They operate from a main 24 hospital practice with full RCVS accreditation and offer a full range of small animal services to all clients.
They have a highly experience and supportive team of 8 vets, 8 qualified nurses and 8 student nurses.
