This is a full-time role with a 1:3 weekend. There is also an on-call rota and bank holiday rota which is shared across all branches and this equates to 3 weeks per year and will be in the nearest animal hospital. The practice is part of a group of 8 branches across the London area. The practice is fully equipped with all the latest technology including Digital X-Ray, Dental X-Ray, Ultrasound, ECG, in house laboratory including microscope and much more. They provide ongoing training and support to all team members through dedicated training centres. All staff also benefit from the access to the best diagnostic equipment such as MRI machines and CT scanners and state of the art operating theatres in the nearest animal hospital.

Locum Veterinary Surgeon Windsor Berkshire 1st - 5th March

This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday starting between the hours of 8.30am - 6.30pm. Whilst there is no over night on call duty there is once a week work requirement to work until 9pm. On this day the Vet will start at 1pm. There is late night surgery on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 8pm with the consulting Vet starting at 1pm and this is usually one late night every two weeks. The Vet will receive the Monday and Friday off after working a weekend. The practice have 2 other branches and it may be required for the Locum Vet to provide cover there when short staffed. Whilst this is a small animal position it would be advantageous if the Vet had large animal experience. They must be flexible and happy to work a variety of shifts including day, night and weekend when required as per the rota. - Branch Work: Yes where required
