We are recruiting for an OOH Registered Veterinary Nurse to join an independent practice in Brighton on a fixed term maternity contract. The role will be an average of 36 hours per week and a weekend rota of 2:5. Working hours are shifts between the hours of 4pm and 12am. There are also two daytime shifts every Tuesday and Wednesday 8am – 6pm.

This role is ideal for an RVN who is looking to take the next step up the career ladder and take on more responsibility and lead and train by example. As a team leader they would be supporting the head veterinary nurse by leading part of the nursing team to deliver a high standard of clinical care and services to clients within the local community in line with company policy. Key responsibilities involve managing the VCAs, surgical support, providing in patient care, carrying out consultations and encouraging financial contributions where applicable.
