We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Edinburgh who are recruiting an additional Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.
This is a small animal first opinion practice comprising of a team of 2 vets, 2 Nurses and support team.
They are offering a 33-hour week with a 1:2 weekend rota comprising of 9am - 12pm.

The practice offers a wide range of modern veterinary services and facilities including:
£40,000 - £60,000 per annum
The ideal role would be worked over a 4.5 day working week; however, a 4-day week could be negotiated.
This role would be ideal for a candidate with 2+ years qualified experience who has a good surgical skill set and is looking to join a progressive, forward thinking practice.
Branch work: Some work at a local branch practice may be required
This small animal veterinary practice is located perfectly for City Centre living and boast a wide variety of clients given its location.
They have 4 sites in and around Edinburgh with the role being based at the Main practice, with occasional work at the branches.
The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 2 years practice experience behind them since qualifying, as at the moment they are not able to support a new graduate.
A driving license is essential as work at a branch practice may be required.
We are working with a busy small animal veterinary practice in East Edinburgh who are currently recruiting for veterinary nurse to join them in a Head Veterinary Nurse role.
You will need to have good all round nursing skills and previous experience working as an RVN in a UK practice, ideally with management/senior experience however this is not essential.
The position involves working on average 40 hours per week, with time off in lieu provided when working more.
They require all nurses to be involved on the 1 in 3 weekend rota and there is no requirement to work out of hours/evenings.
Hours: 40 hours per week, working shifts between 9:00am and 6:30pm
Branch work: None required, 1 practice online
