Professional veterinary recruitment

We are recruiting for a Veterinary Nurse to join a small animal practice in Newton Abbott Devon. This is a full or part time role to cover a maternity leave with the opportunity for it to become permanent for the right candidate. It is full time hours with a 1:5/6 weekend rota which would be sole charge alongside a Vet. There is no OOH. This position offers an excellent work / lie balance with the practice located close to the glorious Devon beaches and the busy City if Exeter.

The practice comprises of a team of 4 Vets, 5 Nurses and supporting staff. They are fully equipped with a modern and spacious environment and offer a wide variety of 1st opinion Veterinary Services.

About the role

The practice are looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse who has good solid nursing experience in all areas of nursing. They must have excellent customer service and communication skills with a friendly and compassionate attitude. They must be passionate, motivated with a genuine passion for animal welfare.

• Consultations: 10 Minutes
• Team: 4 Vets, 5 RVNS with support team.

• You will have excellent all-round nursing skills.
• You will have good general nursing experience
• You will be able to take responsibility for your own tasks

• You will have a genuine passion for animal welfare including preventative healthcare

Package:

• Salary: 21,000 - 24,000 pro rata
