We are recruiting for a Clinical Director to join and lead a practice at a small animal practice on the outskirts of Nottingham.

The Clinical Director role will involve both clinical and management work and the right candidate will have a high standard of both clinical care and organisational skills. They will be responsible for consulting, surgery, diagnosis, treatment of patients, inpatient care, supporting reception and nursing staff regarding clinical services, pricing and fees and dealing with clients. They must be competent clinically and have strong leadership skills and mentoring skills to ensure the utilisation and development of team skills within the practice. They will be responsible for moving and practice forward and developing a culture where all team members needs are met as well as providing excellent veterinary care to all patients and clients. Two years minimum small animal experience required.

The practice is a purpose built, modern and spacious which is fully equipped. The role involves a 39 hour working week over a 4 day period along with a 1:3 Saturday or 1:6 full weekend rota. The practice has a 4 Vet team and one of the Vets holds a certificate in Surgery.

• You will have a minimum of two years small animal experience

Package:

• Salary: Up to 65,000 per annum Commensurate to experience pro rata
• Holiday allowance: 5 weeks plus bank holidays pro rata
