We are recruiting for two Permanent Veterinary Surgeons to join a small animal practice in Charlton South London.

Due to continual growth the practice is recruiting another two permanent Veterinary Surgeons to join their team of 4 Vets, 1 RVN, 3 SVN, 3 VCAs, 5 CCAs and supporting staff.

This is a full-time role working Monday - Friday with a 1:6 weekend rota and no ooh.

This is an established modern practice with an excellent local reputation. It is located close to a tube stations, local bus routes and offers on site parking. The practice is fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and offers a variety of modern 1st opinion veterinary services.

About the role

The practice is looking to recruit 2 Vets to add to their growing team. One of the Veterinary Surgeons needs to have a medical bias, be confident in sole charge work and routine surgeries and consultations. It is important that they are confident and can make important decisions whilst under pressure. For the second Veterinary Surgeon position the practice can consider newly graduated or recently graduated Vets. In both positions it is vital both Vets have excellent customer service and communication skills and able to build rapport and work relationships with clients and fellow members of the team easily. Full time with no OOH and only a 1:6 weekend rota offers an excellent work / life balance.

About You:

• You must have a strong work ethic and provide an excellent high standard of clinical service
• For the experienced Veterinary Surgeon, you will be confident in all areas of routine surgeries and medical cases and sole charge. You will be able to make important decisions whilst working well under pressure
• For the second role you maybe a newly qualified Veterinary Surgeon or looking for a role where you have additional support to develop your clinical skill set and knowledge further
• You will be a forward thinking pro-active veterinary surgeon
• You will want to contribute to the practice enabling them to stay at the forefront of clinical thinking whilst also maintaining the ethos of providing a high standard of clinical care to all pets.
• You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and staff.

Package:

• Salary: 35,000 - 60,000 pro rata commensurate with experience
