We are recruiting two locum Veterinary Surgeons to join a small animal practice in Rushden Northamptonshire.

The practice require 2 Vets with a minimum of 4 years' experience and who are confident in surgery.

These are full time locum positions with onsite accommodation available.

The Vets will work 35 - 40 hours per week comprising of

Sunday 9am - 5pm

Monday 8am - 7pm

Tuesday 8am - 7pm

Wednesday 8am - 7pm

There is no OOH and no on call.

The accommodation is available and is a self-contained flat studio and also a separate other flat.

The practice has COVID safe procedures in place and they have created 4 veterinary teams of Vets and Nurse so that no team mixes with another. They are also working in separate areas of the building.

• Start Date: April 2021 (flexible start date)
• End Date: Ideally an initial 2 month period with view to being extended
• Hours Mon-Fri: Ideally pattern would be to work from Sunday to Wednesday each week, however practice can be very flexible. Practice open from 8:00am until 6:30pm each day
• Weekends: Involvement on weekend rota is desired, Saturday & Sundays are 9am until 3pm
• OOH: None required
• Sole Charge: Always another vet on site, but must be comfortable with sole working
• Branch Work: None required, only 1 site
• Consultations: The practice is focused on providing excellent client care and allows as much time as required for a consult
• Accommodation: The practice can provide on site accommodation with double sofa bed, modern equipment, dishwasher and onsite parking

Must have:

RCVS registered and qualified

Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom

2 years UK practice experience
