Job description

We are recruiting for two permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a practice in Sidcup Kent.

This is a full-time role with a 1:3 weekend rota and no ooh. There is some sole charge work on occasion.

The practice is expanding and are now in need of two additional Vets to join their team. The practice currently comprises of 2 Vets, 1 RVN, 1 SVN and supporting team. They offer a wide range of veterinary services including soft tissue surgery and orthopaedic and laparoscopic / endoscopic procedures.

One of the roles is ideal for a Vet who has a minimum of 2 years' experience and the second role is ideal for a Vet with 4 years minimum experience. Also, if the Vet has a medical bias this would be advantageous but not essential.

The role offers clinical freedom to both Vets and the opportunity to build up their own client bases and establish good working relationships with clients and fellow team members. Both roles require that the Vets be confident in routine surgeries and consultations and any areas of special interest would be encouraged and supported.

They must have excellent communication skills, be a team player and have a caring and empathetic attitude.

Package:

  • Salary: 35,000 - 50,000 Commensurate to experience
