Job description
We are recruiting a full time Veterinary Surgeon to join a practice in the centre of the historical City of York.
The role offers a 4-day working week with a generous 1:3 Saturday mornings only rota and no ooh! This offers a fantastic work / life balance.
This is an established forward thinking and dynamic practice with a supportive team of experienced Vets and Nurses.
Due to continual growth, they are looking for an additional Vet to join their team. The role would suit a Vet with a minimum of 3 years' experience and there is potential for an experience candidate should they want to progress into a Clinical Director role.
The practice is fully equipped with the latest technology and see a wide variety of cases. They support and encourage ongoing development so areas of special interests and post graduate qualifications are supported.

- Type: Small Animal
- Hours: Full time: 4 days per week
- Weekends: Yes 1:3 Saturday mornings only
- OOH: None
- Sole Charge: None
- Team: Large team of Veterinary Surgeons and Nurses along with support staff
- Consultations: 15 Minutes

About you:
- You will be competent in routine surgeries and consultations
- You will be ambitious and looking to develop your career further
- You will be looking to move into a clinical director role
- You will always deliver a high standard of clinical care
- You will have excellent customer facing skills
- You will work well within the team alongside other veterinary specialists and clinicians to ensure a harmonious working environment
- You will be a passionate and motivated veterinary surgeon with a genuine interest for animal welfare
