Job description

We are recruiting for a two permanent small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join an independent practice in Hounslow West London. Both positions are full time roles.

The practice has 4 branches across West London. They offer a wide range of modern veterinary services and facilities and invest in high quality equipment including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, doppler ultrasound, ASIF equipment, arthroscopy, endoscopy, and laparoscopy. The see a wide variety of cases and the roles would be ideal for Vets with either a medical or surgical bias.

The practice comprises of a highly experienced team of Vets and Nurses and they have various levels of expertise and specialisms, so they are able and equipped to deal with more complex surgeries and cases in house without referring.

The practice offers consultations every day of the week and have state of the at facilities and equipped to handle more complex medical cases and investigations. They have in patient care facilities at two of their branches so that they can look after animals through the night. They offer OOH until 10pm at which point they switch over to an OOH service. The practice actively promotes the ethos of preventative care and runs pet care group sessions to educate the public on how to take the best possible care of their pets.

About you:

The practice can support various levels of experienced Veterinary Surgeons. The roles offer a great opportunity for Vets with either medical or surgical bias.

  • You will be competent in routine surgeries - dependent on experience support available
  • You will always deliver a high standard of clinical care
  • You will have excellent customer facing skills
  • You will work well within the team alongside other veterinary specialists and clinicians
  • You will be a passionate and motivated veterinary surgeon with a genuine interest for animal welfare
