We are recruiting for a permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a lovely practice in Ayr Scotland t on the beautiful West Coast of Scotland. This is a large established first opinion practice spread over 3 sites. They boast an experienced team of 5 Veterinary Surgeons alongside a highly experience nursing team and non clinical support team.

This is a full-time role offering an excellent work / life balance with a 40 hour week with a 1:3 weekend rota of Saturdays mornings. There are no other weekend duties and no ooh.

This is a small animal first opinion practice located on the West Coast of Scotland.

The practice is looking for a forward-thinking Veterinary Surgeon and someone who is ambitious to help drive the practice forward. They must be a competent surgeon who has excellent client facing skills and able to work well as part of a team.

You'll be part of a great team and we are looking for someone to help drive the business forwards across our small and friendly group of RCVS accredited clinics.

About you:

• You will be competent in routine surgeries
• You will always deliver a high standard of clinical care
• You will have excellent customer facing skills
• You will work well within the team alongside other veterinary specialists and clinicians
• You will be a passionate and motivated veterinary surgeon with a genuine interest for animal welfare

Facilities:

The practice is fully equipped with a range of equipment enabling them to offer a wide variety of veterinary services and facilities including:

• Digital X-Ray
• Ultrasound

• Radiography
• Ultrasonography

• In House Laboratory
• Separate cat and dog wards

Package:

• Salary range of 37,000- 52,000 commensurate with experience
• CPD allowance
• 5 weeks annual leave

Must haves:

RCVS Registered & Qualified or soon to be.
