Our independent clients in Stonehaven, West Scotland are currently recruiting for a small animal veterinary surgeon to join their team on a permanent basis. The position is open to a full or part time candidate, but they would need a minimum of 3 days per week covering, as well as a 1 in 3 Saturday morning rota.

The position is open to qualified veterinary surgeons of all experience levels - if you have multiple years' experience that would be great, however they are open to supporting and development ambitious new graduates too.

Key Job Details:

Type: Small animal only

Hours Mon-Fri: 3-5 days per week, working 9:00am until 7:00pm each day

Weekends: 1 in 3 Saturday shifts on a rota

OOH: None required - all outsourced

Branch work: None required - one practice only

Team: 9 Veterinary surgeons in different disciplines, with a full nursing team and support staff

About them:

An independent small and farm animal veterinary practice based in West Scotland who provide a complete services to the local area and beyond. The practice have almost 10 years experience in the area and their facilities are modern throughout, they have a purpose built facility with a large amount of equipment.

The candidate:

This role is open to all levels of qualified veterinary surgeon - providing you are RCVS registered. They are willing to offer full support to recent graduates and will also welcome experienced vets who can bring new ideas to the team. You will need to be passionate, hardworking and self-motivated throughout your work.

The Package:

Salary from 32,000 to 50,000 depending on skills and experience

Generous CPD allowance

28 days annual leave including bank holidays

Paid RCVS & VDS Membership

Company pension scheme

Must haves:

RCVS Registration

Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom.

Have excellent verbal / written communication skills
