An exciting opportunity has arisen in an independent first opinion practice in Rustington West Sussex for either a full or part-time permanent veterinary surgeon to join their team. If you are a surgeon who would like clinical freedom without being micromanaged, then this could be for you! The role provides an excellent work / life balance with no OOH required and early finishes during the week. This well-established practice sees a variety of caseloads so the surgeon will have the opportunity to expand their skill set and establish their own client base.

Key Details:

• Type: Small Animal
• Hours: Full-time 35 hours p/w 8:30-4/8:30-7 or part-time/flexible hours considered
• Weekends: 1:3 Saturday mornings only 9-12 1:12 Weekends
• OOH: None required
• Sole charge: Yes
• Branch work: Minimal
• Computer System: Robovet
• Team: 2 Vets 2 RVN and support team

About You:

• You will have a good level of experience in a 1st Opinion practice
• You will be confident in all routine surgeries.
• You will be confident in sole charge work
• You will be an experienced forward-thinking veterinary surgeon
• You will be willing to work in a fun yet busy practice
• You will have good surgical experience and comfortable working autonomously
• You will have previous experience in a busy practice and an awareness of what contributes to practice profitability

• In House Dental Suite
• Ultrasound

Package:

• Salary: 30,000 - 50,000 Pro Rata
• Holiday allowance: 5 Weeks Plus Bank Holidays on a rota and Birthday leave

Must haves:

RCVS Registered & Qualified or soon to be.
