Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of a practice in Tilehurst, Reading for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon. This role is full or part time with no OOH work involved so it offers a great work-life balance.

The position is a prominently a sole charge role so would ideally suit an experienced vet. They would be joining a supportive team of 2.5 RVNs, 2 SVNs and 2.5 ANAs and a dedicated reception team who work well together and provide a family feel environment to work in.

They are looking for a vet who is comfortable with routine consultations and surgeries but also with emergency surgery when required.

  • You will be confident in some sole charge work when required.

  • You will be able to establish good working relationships with clients and be confident in all consultations
  • You will contribute to the practice with ideas enabling them to stay at the forefront of clinical thinking whilst also maintaining the ethos of providing a high standard of clinical care to all pets.
  • You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and staff.
  • You will be a strong team player

  • Salary: Up to 55,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
