Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal hospital in Nottingham for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.

This is a full-time position, and the Vet would be joining a large team of 13 Vets. The rota comprises of a mixture of shifts. There are three shifts from 9am - 7pm, one 9am - 4pm shift and one 8am - 12 noon shift. There is 1.5 Saturdays in 5 and 1: 5 Sundays. The Vet receives the following Friday off work after working a Sunday allowing for a lovely long weekend. The practice is flexible on working patterns so would be also happy to discuss a 4-day working week with typical hours of 9am - 7pm.

There are no OOH requirements however the Vet would be expected to take part in the second on call rota which is one night per week.

The Hospital is well established and has offers a wide range of modern veterinary services and facilities. It has a large and loyal client base, along with a great reputation and its tier three hospital status. The have a large supportive team of Veterinary Nurses as well as friendly nonclinical support team. Some of the Vets are certificate holders in Ophthalmology, Surgery, Medicine, Imaging and Dermatology.

The practice is committed to forming great relationships with all clients and use a teamwork approach to delivering a high standard of veterinary care. They ensure an excellent service is provided and are compassionate to all cases.

Who are they looking for

  • The Vet will have a minimum of 4 years' experience within a small animal practice
  • If the Vet has an advanced Veterinary Certificate this would be an advantage

Person:

Package:
