Professional veterinary recruitment

We are working with an independent, small animal veterinary practice in Northwich, Cheshire who are currently recruiting for veterinary surgeon's to join their team on a permanent basis. The position can be full or part time for the right candidate - with full time working a 4-day week from 8:30am until 6:30pm each day and a 1 in 4 Saturday morning rota. All out of hours are outsourced meaning no requirements for the vets.

The position is open to qualified veterinary surgeons of all experience levels - if you have multiple years' experience that would be great, however they are open to supporting and development ambitious new graduates too.

Key Job Details:

Type: Small animal only

Hours Mon-Fri: 4 days per week, 8:30am until 6:30pm each day (part time considered)

Weekends: 1 in 4 Saturday morning shifts

OOH: None required - all outsourced

Branch work: None required - one practice only

Team: 5 Vets, 9 RVNs and full support team

About them:

An independent long standing veterinary practice who have a brilliant reputation in the local area. They provide a complete small animal service to a variety of regular and new clients on a weekly basis. The practice is well equipped throughout and they have a full dental theatre with radiography equipment, ultrasound, and ECG machines as well as digital and dental x-ray machines.

The candidate:

This role is open to all levels of qualified veterinary surgeon - providing you are RCVS registered. They are willing to offer full support to recent graduates and will also welcome experienced vets who can bring new ideas to the team. You will need to be passionate, hardworking and self-motivated throughout your work.

The Package:

Salary from 32,000 to 60,000 depending on skills and experience

Generous CPD allowance

28 days annual leave including bank holidays

Paid RCVS & VDS Membership

Company pension scheme

Must haves:

RCVS Registration

Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom.

Have excellent verbal / written communication skills
