We are working with a growing, independent, small animal practice in Kingsteignton, Devon who are recruiting for veterinary surgeons to join them on a permanent part time basis.

Key Details:

Type: Small animal only

Hours Mon-Fri: 4 or 4 and half days a week, between the hours of 8:30am and 7:00pm each day

Weekends: 1 in 4 weekend rota, Consulting in the morning and then on call

OOH: Yes on a rota.

Team: 8 Vets in the team, with a full team of nurses and support staff

Branch work: Practice has branches in local area, work will be required at 1 of them regularly depending on your location.

About them:

They are a 100% small animal independent practice situated in a beautiful part of Devon, with easy access to Dartmoor, the coast and Exeter City. A growing practice with an additional branch surgery opened in Spring 2020 and lovely friendly team of vets, nurses, student nurses and receptionists who work well together. They strive for excellence and believe in working closely with all clients, offering informed choices and an excellent level of care for their pets. All the vets discuss cases regularly working well as a team but have plenty of clinical freedom and case continuity. New graduates are considered and are well supported by our experienced vets.

The Person:

This position would suit a vet who enjoys being a good general practitioner and has an interest in veterinary medicine as well as surgery. You will need to believe into the practice ethos of offering excellent care to all clients, irrespective of their means. All qualified experienced vets will be considered as well as those soon to graduate.

The Package:

35,000 - 50,000 depending on experience.

1000 annual CPD budget and 5 days per year

4 weeks annual leave
