Job description

We are recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a practice in Newark Nottinghamshire.

This is a full or part time with the full time hours working 39 hours per week with a 1:3 half weekend or 1:6 full weekend rota.

The practice offers a wide range of modern veterinary services and facilities including digital radiography, endoscopy, and in-house laboratory.

The practices provide a high standard of clinical care and pride themselves on having staff members who stand apart from the rest and have a real passion and vision for how they work. They provide ongoing training and support to all team members through dedicated training centres. All staff also benefit from the access to the best diagnostic equipment such as MRI machines and CT scanners and state of the art operating theatres in the nearest state-of-the-art Animal Hospital.

About the role

The are looking for a Vet who is competent in medical and surgical cases and is confident with sole charge work. the Vet will have a good amount of small animal experience and have the desire to continue to develop their clinical skills and knowledge. They will have excellent customer service and communication skills and have a caring and empathetic attitude. The Vet will lead by example and provide ongoing support and the sharing of knowledge with the team. They will provide a high standard of clinical care and put the patients and the clients first.

Package:

  • Salary: Up to 65,000 commensurate to experience
