Job description

We are recruiting a permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice in Milton Keynes. This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week over 4 days and a weekend rota.

The practice is looking for a newly graduated Vet to join them in this supported role. They will be able to join the new graduate programme offering plenty of support and regular training along to enable them to settle into their new career.

The practice offers a friendly and established team along with a varied caseload with interesting cases. They have a loyal client base and the Vet will have the opportunity to develop client relationships and grow their own client base. Everything is in place within the practice for a new graduate to thrive in their role. The practice has staff who have been there for years and will provide a guided, friendly, and supportive environment for the new colleague. The Vet will also be supported by the clinical director and able to develop at their own pace.

This is a large modern practice offering a variety of veterinary services and facilities and boasts large consultation rooms. The team are friendly and supportive, so it is important the surgeon works well alongside others and be a team player.

Key Details:

  • Type: Small Animal - New Graduate position
  • Hours: Monday - Friday Full time hours 4 days per week
  • Weekends: Yes on a rota
  • OOH: None
  • Sole Charge: No
  • Consultations: 15 Minutes
  • Team: 2 Vet team with nurses and supporting staff

Package:

  • Salary - 33,000 - 43,000 Pro Rata
