Job description

We are recruiting for a Permanent Mobile Veterinary Surgeon to join a practice in

Merthyr Tydfil Wales. This is a full-time position working 39.5 hours per week providing mobile Veterinary Services to practices across South Wales. There is an accommodation allowance and a vehicle allowance or vehicle provided with this role.

About the role

The role involves covering 4 practices in total, one of which is the main branch then a further 3 smaller branch surgeries. It offers a great opportunity for a wide variety of case load and to be able to work with a large team. There a more advanced surgical and medical cases seen to plenty of scope for the Vet to develop their clinical skill set and knowledge.

The practices are part of a group of practices within the area and they offer the very best in diagnostic equipment to deliver a high standard of clinical are. They pride themselves on providing continual training support for all members of the team offering access to a dedicated training centre.

The practices are fully equipped with ultrasound facilities including cardiac probes, endoscopy, orthopaedic equipment and much more.

Who are they looking for

The practice requires a Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum of 2 years' experience and who is competent medically and surgically. The must be confident in sole charge work when required and have excellent client facing and communication skills.
