Job description

We are recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice in Market Harborough.

This is a full time role with a weekend rota and no OOH requirement. There is a small amount of sole charge work involved. This is a purpose-built clinic which see a wide variety of cases and is fully equipped offering a range of modern veterinary services. It offers on site parking and is close to transport links including the train station.

The role offers the Vet clinical freedom to work up their own cases. The team have a variety of special interests and these are supported within the practice and regular CPD is encouraged. This is an enthusiastic and supportive team where the members are encouraged to add input into the running of the practice.

They are looking for a confident vet who enjoys both an equal mixture of surgical and medical cases. They will be a team player with great communication skills and enjoy building good working relationships with both clients and other members of the team.

  • Ambition to study towards areas of special interest are welcome but not essential for the role
  • You will be able to establish good working relationships with clients and be confident in all consultations
  • You will contribute to the practice with ideas enabling them to stay at the forefront of clinical thinking whilst also maintaining the ethos of providing a high standard of clinical care to all pets.
  • You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and staff.
  • You will be a strong team player

Package:
