Professional veterinary recruitment

We are recruiting a Permanent Veterinary Surgeons to join a small animal practice in Maldon, Essex.

They are looking for 2-3 Veterinary Surgeons and are able to take on a new graduate Vet. These are full or part time roles and the practice are flexible on hours for example for childcare purposes.

This is a full time position would be a 4 day along with 1 in 4 weekends and no OOH rota.

The surgeons would be joining a team of 1 vet and 5 RVNs along with supporting staff. It is a friendly and supportive team, and they all pride themselves on excellent clinical care and customer service.

It is a purpose built modern and spacious practice offering on site parking. They have wide range of equipment from digital X-ray through to orthopaedic kits.

Who are the looking for

They are looking for passionate and enthusiastic Vets and candidates who are team players. They must have excellent customer service and communication skills. Ideally the surgeons will have a good level of experience in order to perform routine surgeries and consultations, and again a new graduates would have support. Areas of special interest are fully supported and encouraged.

• Type: Small animal
• Hours: Full or part time, 4 days per week
• Weekends: 1 in 4 weekends

• Sole charge: On weekends
• Computer system: RX Works
• Consultations: 10 minutes
• Team: 1 vets, 5 RVNs and support team

• You will have excellent all-round surgeon skills
• You will be able to do consultations and surgery sole charge
• You will be able to do a bitch spray unassisted
• You will work to deliver a high standard of clinical care and have a can-do attitude!
• You will have a motivated and passionate attitude
• You will have strong organisational skills
• You will have a genuine passion for animal welfare including preventative healthcare
• You will have excellent communications skills and be able to develop working relationships with clients and fellow members of staff

Package:

• Salary: 30,000 to 50,000 pro rata, commensurate to experience
