Job description

We are recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice close to Richmond London.

This is a part -time role working 20 - 30 hours per week. There is 1:3 Saturday or 1:6 full weekend rota.

This is an established busy practice with a large experienced Veterinary Team. They comprise of facilities including X-Rays, ECG, Endoscopy, Ultrasound, and an in-house laboratory. The partners at the practice have special interests in orthopaedics and dermatology and they see wide variety of both routine and complex cases. There are certificate holding surgeons within the practice which enables them to offer soft tissue surgeries, orthopaedic surgeries, and laparoscopic surgeries.

The practice provides a high standard of clinical care and pride themselves on having staff members who stand apart from the rest and have a real passion and vision for how they work. They provide ongoing training and support to all team members through dedicated training centres. All staff also benefit from the access to the best diagnostic equipment such as MRI machines and CT scanners and state of the art operating theatres in the state-of-the-art Animal Hospital.

About the role

This is a busy practice and given the nature of cases seen the Vet they are looking for will have at least 5 years' experience. The Vet will enjoy both the mixture of consultations and surgeries and working up their own cases. The Vet would be able to work alongside the certificate holding surgeons to expand their clinical skill set and knowledge.

It offers a great opportunity for a Vet who is looking to progress and advance their skills at one of the busiest practices within the UK.

Package:

  • Salary: Up to 50,000 for full time commensurate to experience
