Job description

We are recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a practice in London. This is a full-time role working 4 days per week with a 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekend rota. This is a large 24hr hospital where there is a shared-on call rota which helps to support ooh vets and this works out at 3 weeks per year.

This is a busy 24hr hospital and the Vet would be joining a team of 11 Vets and 12 RVNS, SVNs and non-clinical support team. There is also mobile Veterinary Surgeons and referring Surgeons who visit the practice daily. Collectively they have a wealth of experience and come are certificate holding Vets or studying towards a certificate.

The Hospital sees a wide variety of cases including specialised cases in neurology, medicine, and surgery. The hospital is fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including endoscopy, arthroscopy, digital x-ray, and ultrasound.

The hospital provides a high standard of clinical care and pride themselves on having staff members who stand apart from the rest and have a real passion and vision for how they work. They provide ongoing training and support to all team members through dedicated training centres.

The practice are looking for an experience Vet who is confident in diagnostics and imaging as they will be working closely alongside the dedicated imaging Veterinary Surgeon.
