Professional veterinary recruitment

We are working with an Independent veterinary hospital in Lincoln who are currently recruiting for a small animal veterinary surgeon to join them on a full time, permanent basis. This role is suitable for all qualified veterinary surgeon's due to the support available within the team of 11 veterinary surgeons, this 100% small animal role would be a great opportunity to kick start your career, start a certificate or simply a change of environment.

The role involves working 40 hours a week over 4 days, with 1 in 3 Saturdays and a share of inpatient cover on a rota. The practice is open to part time hours and they are willing to be fairly flexible over shifts and other commitments.

Key Job Details:

• Type: Small animal only
• Hours Mon-Fri: 40 hours a week worked over 4 days, usually shifts will be 8am-5pm, 9am-5pm, 9am-6pm, 10am-7pm
• Weekends: 1 in 3 Saturday's working 9:00am until 1:00pm
• OOH: No one call as such, but inpatient care will be required. This is shared out on a rota basis
• Sole charge: None will be required
• Branch work: Not required, sole site
• Team: 11 Vets (8 full time), 16 qualified nurses and other support staff

A proudly independent and small animal veterinary hospital based in Lincolnshire with a purpose-built premise who pride themselves on their RCVS accredited practice. They are fully equipped with a variety of equipment and offer a large range of services that include: Health checks, ultrasound, radiography, Cryosurgery, Biochemistry, Neutering, Dental, endoscopy and full operating facilities.

The Person:

They are looking for a hardworking, motivated and eager veterinary surgeon to join them who is either looking to start their first position since graduating or someone with previous experience looking for a new practice to gain a wider knowledge of skills from.

You will need to have a great set of customer service skills, a real passion for the industry and a willingness to learn and develop.

The practice would be willing to support any specific certificate if its of benefit to both yourself as well as the practice.

The Package:

• Salary flexible between 30,000 & 50,000 depending on experience
• CPD allowance is usually 1000 per annum but not limited

Must have:

RCVS registered and qualified
