An independent Small Animal practice in Leicester are recruiting a permanent full time Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.

The practice is purpose built, modern, spacious with state-of-the-art equipment and services. They are looking for a caring, competent veterinary surgeon. Training and CPD, both in-house and externally, are encouraged - as is excellence of clinical and client care. The position is to join the small-animal team based at the well-equipped modern hospital premises on the edge of the city of Leicester. A good mix of operating and consulting. You should have a minimum of at least one years' experience.

The post is for four days with a fixed day off. A Saturday cover of 1:4 (8:30 - 14:00). The practice have their own dedicated ECC vet & nurse teams, so no night work. No OOH.

About You:

• You must have a strong work ethic and provide an excellent high standard of clinical service
• You will be competent in all areas of routine surgeries and medical cases
• You must be happy with sole charge work when required.
• You will want to contribute to the practice enabling them to stay at the forefront of clinical thinking whilst also maintaining the ethos of providing a high standard of clinical care to all pets.
• You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and staff.
• You will be a strong team player
• You will have 1 years' experience
