We are recruiting for a permanent senior veterinary surgeon for a practice in Lancaster Lancashire on a full-time basis. The role has no OOH requirements but has a 1:3 Saturday rota.

The Vet will be part of a small team and will have the clinical freedom to develop their career as well as areas of special interest. It offers a great work / life balance with there being no on call/

They have an experienced team of 3 Vets and 5 Nurses who provide a high level of veterinary care. The practice also has visiting experts who provide the soft tissue surgery, cardiology and orthopaedic procedures. They offer 15-minute consultations.

• Hours: Monday - Friday Full time
• Weekends: 1:3 Saturdays

• Team: 3 Vet and 5 RVN with support team

About You:

• You must have a strong work ethic and provide an excellent high standard of clinical service
• You will have ideally 1-2 years' experience
• You will be comfortable with all areas of routine surgery and consults.
• You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and staff.
• You will be a strong team player

Package:

• Salary: 35,000 - 50,000 commensurate to experience
