We have an opportunity for two Permanent Veterinary Surgeons to join an independent practice in Horsham. They are looking for vets with any level of experience but sole charge is required on occasion.

The role is full time for 40 hours per week between 8am and 7pm, along with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties required, offering a fantastic work-life balance!

The practice is extremely well established with a loyal client base in the area, as well as working collaboratively with animal welfare and wildlife charities.

They have a great team of experienced vets and nurses, with a variety of interests looking to share their experience and support a newly graduated vet in their career development.

The successful candidate will enjoy being based in rural West Sussex making the most of what the market town of Horsham and its surrounding countryside has to offer, whilst being based a train journey away from the Capital with national and international transport links.

• Type: Small animal
• Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, shifts between 8am and 7pm
• Weekends: 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, 8am to 1pm

• Branch work: Occasional
• Sole charge: Branch and weekends
• Team: 4 vets and 8 RVNs plus support staff

Package:

• Salary: 35,000 to 60,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
• Holidays: 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays
• CPD: Generous allowance of 1,500
• Memberships: VDS fees paid
• Further study supported and encouraged
