Professional veterinary recruitment

We are recruiting permanent Veterinary Surgeons to join a small animal practice in Hatfield. This is a full-time position with a weekend rota. There is no ooh.

This is a busy established practice which is purpose built with state-of-the-art equipment. It has a large loyal client base and comprises of a team of 2 Vets, 1 Nurse and a support team.

About the role

The Vet must have an enthusiastic and passionate attitude and dedicated to providing a high standard of clinical care. It is important that they can establish good working relationships with clients as well as fellow team members.

They must be confident in routine surgeries and consultations and there is some occasional sole charge work so it is also important that they are happy in this area. There is support available from the nursing team when working sole charge.

Hours: Monday - Friday full or part time hours available

Weekends: Yes on a rota Saturdays 9am - 5.30pm & Sunday 10am - 3.30pm

Consultations: 10 Minutes

Team: 2 Vet, 3 RVN, and support team

About You:

You will have 2 years' experience as a minimum

You will be happy with some sole charge work

You must have a strong work ethic and provide an excellent high standard of clinical service

You will have an approachable and caring attitude

You will be able to establish good working relationships with clients and be confident in all consultations

You will want to contribute to the practice with ideas enabling them to stay at the forefront of clinical thinking whilst also maintaining the ethos of providing a high standard of clinical care to all pets.

You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and staff.

You will be a strong team player

Package:

Salary: 35,000 - 50,000 pro rata

Holiday allowance: 28 days annual leave plus Birthdays off.
